I don’t really have any thing or any band in particular that influences me to play guitar. I kinda just do what I feel needs to be done when I wake up in the morning, and guitar playing just happens to be on the list everday.
A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF:
I’m a sound engineer focusing mainly on studio recordings, I think it’s safe to say I do that full time.
I started playing guitar around the last few years of high school. It was quite a spontaneous idea brought up during a Science lesson where a few friends (my first band) were just randomly assigning instruments to each member. I guess I just took the idea of me playing further. I like music so much I just wanted to be apart of it, and just listening to it wasn’t enough. Kinda like kissing a girl just sometimes isn’t satisfying enough…
I love the feeling of playing/practicing guitar and playing as perfect as I possibly can (which is the most satisfying part for me) although I don’t like to call myself a “guitarist” because of the misconceptions, and the way guitarists think about music and their lifestyle.
I also ride BMX in my spare time. It’s been a part of my life since early high school. I took a 4 year break to focus on music then started again early 2010. But after a few hospital visits, I can’t afford to be injured anymore, so I just take it easy…on the bigger tricks…
